Abstract
Legitimate rights and freedoms are considered important pillars of legal systems for the people. With the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the establishment of the Islamic Republic, and with the emphasis of the late founder of the revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), as well as the intellectual leaders of the revolution, these legitimate rights and freedoms have been recognized in the constitution and ordinary laws. In this article, we will examine the legal, political, and institutional mechanisms for securing and guaranteeing these rights and analyze the requirements for their realization. In the meantime, we will try to evaluate and diagnose the path taken and the path ahead using a descriptive-analytical method and using solid library resources. This research shows that despite the existence of strong legal frameworks and reliable theoretical and thought-provoking foundations, there are challenges in the full implementation of these rights that require structural reforms and strengthening of supervisory institutions.
